About Us

Our Story

“We put our customers first, building every relationship on trust, honesty, and a commitment to doing what’s right.”

To us, great service is about more than simply completing the job. It’s about listening to our customers, communicating clearly, standing behind our work, and treating every project with the care it deserves. We believe lasting relationships are built through dependable service, quality workmanship, and doing what we say we’re going to do—every single time.

OUR STORY

For more than 90 years, Parks Lumber has been built on a foundation of hard work, dependable service, and a commitment to the community we are proud to call home. Our story began in 1934 when Ode Parks founded the company with a small sawmill and planer mill and a vision for serving the building needs of his neighbors. The business was later carried forward by his son, Charles Parks, continuing a family tradition that has now reached its fourth generation of lumber dealers. While our operation has grown and the building industry has changed tremendously over the decades, the principles Parks Lumber was founded on remain the same. We believe our customers deserve quality building materials, knowledgeable assistance, and service they can depend on—whether they are professional contractors working on a development or homeowners tackling a project of their own. Every generation of our family has worked to preserve the reputation established by those who came before us while continuing to grow and adapt to better serve the needs of today’s builders and homeowners.

OUR VISION

At Parks Lumber, we believe being a successful business means much more than simply providing lumber and building materials. It means building lasting relationships with the people who walk through our doors and being an active part of the community that has supported our family for generations. We are incredibly thankful for the customers, contractors, employees, friends, and neighbors who have helped make Parks Lumber what it is today, and above all, we are grateful for the many blessings we have received from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our faith, family values, and commitment to treating people with honesty and respect continue to guide the way we do business. As we look toward the future, our goal is not to change what has made Parks Lumber successful for generations, but to build upon it—providing dependable products, knowledgeable service, and the personal attention our customers have come to expect. From one generation to the next, we are proud to continue the Parks Lumber legacy and look forward to serving our community for many years to come.
